Dr. Danny Weiss is in the perfect profession for him because he cares for people and enjoys helping them. His family are native Memphians; in fact, his father practiced dentistry here, and now, Dr. Weiss and one of his three brothers are carrying on the family tradition.

After receiving his degree in dentistry and masters in orthodontics at the University of Tennessee, Dr. Weiss set up his practice here in Memphis and, years later, still gets excited when seeing the dramatic transformation that a new smile can make in a person.

Our patients feel at home when they come to see us – some calling him Uncle Danny and others simply coming in for a hug. They don’t hesitate to stop by to say hello or give an update on the latest events in their life, even years after being dismissed.

Dr. Weiss believes that it is important to stay current with the newest ideas and latest braces technology in the dental/orthodontic field and happily mentors several of the younger doctors in the area and also holds Invisalign workshops throughout the year for dentists and hygienists. He is a member of the ADA, TDA, and MDS, also the AAO, TAO, and MSO, having been president of both the MDS and the MSO and is also a Premier Invisalign Provider. Dr. Weiss feels strongly about reaching out in the community and is an active participant in Smile for Life – dentistry’s most successful charity campaign.

When he’s not involved in something to do with orthodontics, Dr. Weiss, and his wife, Saralyn, are happily busy keeping up with their children and grandchildren. When he and Saralyn aren’t traveling or attending the latest performance at the Orpheum, he loves playing golf and racquetball. So, basically, the man loves his sports – whether it's football, basketball, baseball, whatever – he is an enthusiastic supporter of them all.
