Paula – Office Coordinator/Finance Manager
I have had the good fortune to work for Dr. Weiss for the last 35 years and can't imagine working in a better place or for a better person. My first 15 years here was as Dr. Weiss' assistant but, as the practice grew, I found myself spending more and more time in our business office. Having the opportunity to get to know patients from the very first day they come and seeing them through to the end result has never ceased to be exciting. Now, after 35 years, I have the pleasure of seeing our former patients bring THEIR children to us!!
When I'm not here, my husband and I spend every moment possible with our children and precious grandchildren.
Jackie – Scheduling Coordinator/Receptionist
Over 35 years ago I decided to take a part time job answering phones in a dental office and fell in love with it. Helping and encouraging others toward beautiful, healthy smiles is such a rewarding experience and working for Dr. Weiss is a pleasure. After so many years of working here, our patients have ceased being patients to me and they've become more like family, not to mention my fellow team members.
When I'm not at work, my thoughts are consumed with the new love of my life - my precious grandson.
Amy – Insurance Coordinator
I've been working with Dr. Weiss for the last 5 years. I'm the one you will talk with whenever you might call with a question concerning your insurance, but I also enjoy helping the other ladies greet you when you come in for your appointment or to schedule your next one for you. I was new to the orthodontic world when I first came here but it didn't take long for me to realize that this was where I belonged. Working for Dr. Weiss and being in such a happy, energetic environment makes me want to come to work each and every day.
My husband and I were recently blessed with a brand new baby boy so we are looking forward to spending every moment doing all of those things that new parents do - kissing, cuddling, rocking!.
Kelly C. – Billing/Licensed Orthodontic Assistant
I have been involved in orthodontics for the past 3 years in both the clinical and clerical areas. I spend my primary time in our business office but you will still find me chairside from time to time. I enjoy working in both areas because there is always something new and interesting to do and it helps me feel that I might be making a difference in someones life. We have such a fun and relaxed atmosphere too that it makes coming to work a pleasure. Loving what you do makes a difference.
My husband and I just gave our three year old son a baby sister so, when I am not at work, I am busy with my most important job of all - being a wife and mom.
Sandi – Licensed Orthodontic Assistant
I have been involved in orthodontics for the past 30 years and was fortunate to have been involved with some terrific practices. When I moved to Memphis from Nashville over 10 years ago there was only one person I wanted to work for and that was Dr. Weiss because I had heard he was the best. I wasn't disappointed. He isn't just a great orthodontist though, he's also a genuinely good person who sincerely cares about his staff and each one of his patients and is completely dedicated to his family. The main reason I love what I do is because I love people. Every person that sits in that chair throughout the day comes with his or her own feelings and personality. Being able to spend that time with them, getting to know them and knowing that you're helping to make them have a more beautiful smile, makes coming to work every day so fulfilling. We have lots of fun too!! When I'm not at work, my new husband and I can usually be found at the airfield flying RC airplanes or spending time with my daughter here or my daughter and son-in-law in Nashville. Oh and, if I get a chance, I like to draw, paint and sculpt.
Joanne – Lab Technician
I have been with Dr. Weiss for the past 10 years. For the first few years I worked in our business office and then I moved to the clinical area and started working in our lab. I've enjoyed the work I've been involved with in both areas because there are always challenges to face that make each day interesting. I still get to work with our patients too, which makes each day fun and exciting.
When I'm not at the office, you will probably find me with my husband on the softball field catching balls behind home plate or spending time with our three daughters and my Yorkie-Poo, Zoey.
Becky – Licensed Orthodontic Assistant
I have been with Dr. Weiss for the past 8 years but I knew more than 20 years ago that I loved orthodontics and everything about it. Meeting new people and learning something new makes me excited to come to work every day. Getting to experience the happy results of an excited and satisfied patient and knowing that I have played a small part in that only increases that desire.
When I'm not at work, pretty much everything I do involves being outdoors - motorcycle trips with my husband, fishing, horseback riding, watching my daughter with her competitive barrel racing, attending my step-daughter's volleyball and baseball games or simply keeping up with my handsome son.
Ann – Licensed Orthodontic Assistant
I have worked with Dr. Weiss for the past 13 years. I took a few years off when I had my children but, when it came time to return to the work force, there is no where else or no one else I would have even considered working for. I enjoy the relaxed environment and the fun we have as a staff and knowing that we're making a difference in our patient's lives.
When I'm not working, I keep busy with my other jobs - cheerleading, coaching, chauffeuring, nursing, counseling - you guessed it - being a mom to my daughter and son!
Paula B. – Licensed Orthodontic Assistant
I'm the other Paula in the office so most of the other girls (and some of the patients) call me Paula B. I've been in the orthodontic field for the last 15 years and 5 of those have been with Dr. Weiss. What I love so much about what I do is being able to have fun and cut up with our patients. It tends to help break the ice and it makes their appointment with us just that much more fun!
When I'm not here I am busy with a wide variety of sports that my two sons play - football, soccer, bowling and racing. In the summers however, my husband and I spend every available minute we can at the lake with our boys.
Kristi – Licensed Orthodontic Assistant
I have been working part time for Dr. Weiss for the last 7 years. If you think you've seen me before, it's probably because I also work for Dr. Josh Brink. Even although my full time job is with a pedodontist, I've been involved in orthodontics for the past 18 years and still love it. Dr. Weiss and all the ladies here have become like my second family.
When I'm not working, I'm running after my three sons - well, two at least - my youngest son was just born this past summer. We can usually be found behind third base at the ball field where my husband helps coach both of our older sons' ball teams. Go Blasters & Mudcats!!
Holley – Licensed Orthodontic Assistant
I have been involved in the dental field for the last 28 years and came to work for Dr. Weiss 24 years ago. I took a number of years in between to be a mom and raise my son and daughter but wouldn't have dreamed of working anywhere else when I was ready to return to work. I love what I do because there is always a new challenge each time the patient visits, due to the changes their teeth are going through. I just love seeing the end results!!
I have been happily married to my high school sweetheart for the past 25 years and we enjoy nothing more than spending time with our kids. Anything we do together as a family is always fun! !
Traci – Licensed Orthodontic Assistant
I've had to move every few years, due to my husband being in the military, so I was thrilled when Dr. Weiss offered me an opportunity to join his team. I've only been here a short while but I already feel like part of the family. Everyone has such a positive attitude and they genuinely care about each patient that walks through the door. One of my favorite parts of this job is being able to interact with the patients and, even after seventeen years, it's fulfilling to know I may have made a small difference in someone's life. I have been blessed with the opportunity to do what I love and still have time for the ones I love.
When I'm not at work, my husband and I enjoy playing sports, watching movies and just hanging out with our two sons.
Jennifer – Sterilization Coordinator
I am a student at the University of Memphis and I'm currently pursuing a career in Dental Hygiene. I came to work for Dr. Weiss on a part time basis about a year ago. Getting the opportunity to help in so many different areas of the office and seeing how much I enjoy each one just makes me even more anxious to graduate so I can do my part toward making pretty, healthy smiles. The best part of working here is being able to interact with the patients and having the chance to work with such wonderful people. Every single girl brings her own special personality to the office and I love all of them.
Outside of work and school, I love spending time with my awesome family and incredible friends. I also compete in pageants and I'm proud to currently hold the title of Miss Nashville. Wish me luck for Miss Tennessee!!
